Once your books are uploaded in both CreateSpace and KDP you will want to create an Author Central account. You can’t start one until you have at least one book on the Amazon Platform. Once you have your book live on Amazon you can login with your Amazon account to create an AC account that allows you to share information about you and your book.

On your Author Central page you can add your blog feed, upload photos, have a bio, upload a video or book trailer. You can share upcoming events like webinars or book signings.

You can also upload editorial reviews. These can be uploaded from influencers in your field, from other authors or your Superheroes.

If you create a well-crafted Author Central page you will be doing better than most bestselling authors out there. Even well known authors don’t take advantage of creating a killer AC page, which can make you appear even more established than you are.

Here are the steps that you will need to do in order to setup your page and make it the best it can be.

Go to https://authorcentral.amazon.com and login/create an account, you can use your existing Amazon account if you want to link them all together. Otherwise, create a new account.

Once in your Author Central Account you can go to the Books page and add a book title, you should see a search button so that you can identify your books. If you add them they will appear and link to your Author Central page.

Now go to your Author Page and add your description, upload a few photos, a video and if you have a blog, add the feed there as well. Make it as personal as possible so your readers can get to know you.

On this page you can see all of your reviews for each your books, track sales information, and author rankings. You will return here more after you launch your book.
